At SUNBEAMsystem we love sustainability in every way. Solar energy is our core business, but we also love to support inspiring people who try to change our world for the better.
The perfect example of such sustainable visionaries is Niels and Tjerk from the 4Green Foundation. In a time when plastic waste is polluting our oceans at an alarming rate, they’ve set out to travel the world and combat this problem however they can, preserving our oceans for future generations.
Sailing around the world on their energy-neutral yacht New Nexus, they educate children on sustainability topics and organize cleanup projects wherever they go. Over the course of their 3-year trip seemingly small steps like this daily ‘plastic harvest’ will add up, providing inspiration, and spreading awareness so we can combat problems like this together.
